Part 2: Celebrating Father's Day with the OG Bubba Cloud Dad

Part 2: Celebrating Father's Day with the OG Bubba Cloud Dad

Father's Day is a time to celebrate the remarkable men in our lives who have supported us, encouraged us, and been there to pick us up when we fall.

From our dads to the father figures in our lives (and the Mums who play both roles) this day is a chance to show appreciation for the countless ways they have touched our lives. On this special day, we are taking a moment to recognise the special Dads in our world.

Part Two:
Today, we are joined by the OG Bubba Cloud Dad, 'Muz' Murray. Husband to Jess and Dad to Hazey and Yindi.

Tell us about your family.

Firstly, there’s my wife Jess. Organised, motivated and keeps us all intact. We go to her for all events or social dates. She keeps the wheels turning for the family.
Then there’s Hazey (5). She is an old soul and just the biggest frother in life. She wants to do everything, and sometimes it’s hard to slow her down ha.
Then Yindi (11 months). Yindi fits in perfectly. She looks up to her big sister and wants to do everything she is doing. She hates sleeping also, ha.
There’s also our 20-year cat Blondie. Who has to put up with us all.

How did you feel when you found out Jess was pregnant?
At first, I was nervous and a bit scared. I questioned whether we were ready. Once Hazey came, it all works out.

What are your top three tips for Dad’s stepping into Fatherhood?
Be present
Be there for them always
and smother them with love and support
What have your children taught you?
That you don’t need to be caught in the mad rush of society (9-5); it’s all about the now because times like these won’t come again. Slow it down and soak it in.

What is your favourite part of being a Dad?
Every day is something new. Seeing your children enjoying life and giving it a go

How will you be spending this Father's Day?
We will go for a ride and spend some time at the beach—nothing to different to what we usually do on our days off.

Thank you for joining us, Murray!
We wish you and all the Dads, Grandads and Father Figures out there a wonderful day tomorrow!
